Wind mitigation features (hip roof, secondary water resistance, impact openings), 4-point inspection on homes 25+ years, no prior claims.
Cost benchmarks
New construction: $1,800–$3,000/yr. Established home with new roof: $2,500–$4,500. Older home with original roof: often uninsurable through standard market.
